Breakfasts are offered as an option for guests in the Self Catering Wing if they choose at an additional charge of £10 per person.

Bed and Breakfast in the First Floor Suite costs £40 per person per night.

Breakfast is served in a beautiful dining room looking out to the sea.  Full choices and special diets are catered for.  Louise enjoys serving local farm butter, cheeses from Achmore, smoked salmon from Skye, local free range eggs, home made breads, and fruits from the kitchen garden as available.

First courses are a choice on the sideboard of cereals, melon, grapefuit, juices, yoghurts, stewed apricots etc. and local stone ground oatmeal porridge with cream.

A wide choice is available for breakfast main courses and specials such as the popular smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on wholemeal toast, as well as the traditional full Scottish breakfast.  Also offered are light breakfast choices such as seasonal fresh fruit platter, local yoghurts, hot croissants and local cheeses.

Hot rolls and toast are also provided and local homemade jams, marmalades and honeycomb.

Eating Out around Dornie

The area has some outstanding restaurants.  Dornie has a good hotel and pub, both serving nice and reasonably priced meals.  The Clachan pub serves  Skye beers and has local musicians playing regularly.

Five miles away is the Kintail Lodge, where meals and music are available.

Plockton has four very good hotels/restaurants.  Of particular mention is the Plockton Shores where delicious homemade cakes, snack lunches and lovely locally sourced evening meals are served.

Applecross Inn, the Kinloch Hotel, and many others throughout the area are worth a visit.  Louise is happy to make recommendations to you or to make a booking for you. (See our Links page for links to more restaurants in the area).
